  • The Latrobe boys soccer program started in 1984.

  • 2014: Coach Tom Kennedy led the Wildcats to the playoffs for the first time in at least 25 years, marking a significant turnaround for the program.

  • 2018: The team set a program record with 11 wins, demonstrating steady improvement and competitiveness in the league.

  • 2020: Latrobe returned to the playoffs, continuing its presence in postseason play, though faced a first-round exit.

  • 2024: Under the leadership of Coach Jake Rice, the Wildcats achieved the first-ever section championship in the program’s history, a testament to the dedication and talent of the players and coaching staff.

Memorable Matches
  • September 12, 2024: Latrobe secured a 2-1 victory over Franklin Regional, highlighted by a stunning goal from senior midfielder Roman Agostoni.

  • September 26, 2024: On Senior Night, the Wildcats dominated Uniontown Area with a 12-1 win. Senior captain Roman Agostoni broke the school’s all-time scoring record with his 53rd career goal.

  • October 3, 2024: Latrobe continued its impressive run with a 3-1 victory against Penn-Trafford, further solidifying its lead in Section 3-3A.
